Terms of service

Buyer expectations
BiteSizedBear suits will promise to deliver quality products that are safe, and functional. We strive to meet the highest standards of customer satisfaction. Our products are designed to be durable, reliable, and of course, meet the expectations of our clients' character, ensuring that they provide the best possible experience for our customers. We are committed to continuous improvement and innovation to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Additionally, our #1 concern is communication, and updates on the progress of our clients' suits. We are committed to regular updates via email, Instagram and Discord to keep clients informed about their suit's progress. Additionally, we've established a dedicated customer service line to address any questions or concerns promptly.
Payment plans

BiteSizedBear suits are flexible, and we understand that fursuits are a luxury item. Additionally, by commissioning BiteSizedBear suits, clients acknowledge that I am a new maker, and I am still learning. As such, our prices are discounted.
Payment plans can be discussed under client-maker confidentiality, and your plan may look something like this:

  • A 30% deposit is required upfront to secure your spot.

  • 50% up front, 50% when completed.

  • (% of fabric costs up front), the rest may be paid in a (up to) 6 month payment plan.

  • Paid in installments monthly.

We understand payments can be tricky, and are willing to assist our clients' preferences as needed.

Cancellation & refunds

We understand there may be second thoughts or changes of heart. To accomodate this, if a client has placed a 30% deposit, but work on the suit has not begun, the 30% deposit will be refunded in full. However, if the 30% deposit has been made, and production has begun, the deposit will NOT be refunded. Bear in mind, if there are any cancellations, please make sure to notify us as soon as possible,

Trademarks & Copyright

Commissions for characters that are owned by another company, trademarked, or protected by Copyright will not be accepted by BiteSizedBear Suits. Additionally, we will not accept a commission for someone else's character.

Shipping

Shipping costs will not be included in the Commission price, keep in mind, if it is shipping from Australia, the costs may be expensive. Notification will be given to our client's when their product has been shipped out via Discord, Instagram or Email. Shipping will generally be supported by Australia Post. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us

Buyer behaviour

BiteSizedBear Suits reserves the right to reject or stop any Commission due to inappropriate client behaviour, this may include bullying, harassment, intimidation or threats. Buyers are expected to behave civilly; "Treat others how you like to be treated"

Warranties

 In the event that the product is damaged by the manufacturer, the warranty covers the product for 30 days from the date of shipment. Damages caused by the buyer within 30 days are not covered by the warranty and will not be repaired by us. BiteSizedBear Suits will gladly fix any defects that become apparent upon arrival if the buyer checks it for defects after receiving the product. We are not responsible for any damage caused by the shipping company, but this issue should be brought up with them after we have been notified. In order to document the current state of the product before shipping, detailed pictures are taken.

Confidentiality

BiteSizedBear Suits will not give our any clients personal information to any third parties, unless any actions taken by the buyer are of concern, or break any laws. Additionally, any and all processes, patterns and techniques are confidential and will not be available for the public to access or use.
